Welcome Message

Dear Psy Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to the XIV PhD Meeting in Social and Organizational Psychology on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th of May 2018 at ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon. The meeting is a scientific gathering of students from Portugal and abroad, of various fields in Psychology that aims to promote the debate surrounding current topics of interest in different areas of Psychology. Undergraduate, Master students, Postdoc and more senior researchers are also invited to present or to attend the meeting and contribute to the debates in hand.

The meeting will be an opportunity to exchange and discuss with researchers at all levels of expertise. Masters’ and PhD’ students will be able to share their ideas and projects and get direct feedback about their work from colleagues, senior researchers and experts. It aims to connect people and ideas while creating a constructive space for future collaborations between researchers interested in different Psychological topics and research themes.

This year's main theme is “Understand change, to promote Change”. We believe that Psychology can play an important role in understanding change and its processes at an individual, intragroup and intergroup level, and fostering new debates on their relevance and articulation in all fields of research in Psychology is one of our goals.

Registration for the XIV PhD Meeting can be completed here. All interested participants must register, even the ones that have submitted their work previously. This includes those who will not present any work but still want to attend the XIV PhD Meeting.

We look forward to seeing you in May.
