Into the unknown: Psychology in the making
19-20 May 2022

Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great honour and pleasure that we invite you to the XVII PhD Meeting in Psychology, taking place on the 19th and 20st of May 2022 at Iscte, in Lisbon.

After last year’s successful virtual conference, we are now excited about the opportunity to meet again and bring back this gathering to Iscte.

The meeting is a scientific gathering of Psychology students that aims to promote debate surrounding current topics of interest in different fields of psychological research.

The conference is a platform for PhD Students to share their recent work and projects. However, undergraduate, Master students, Postdoc and more senior researchers are also invited to present or to attend the meeting and contribute to the debates at hand. In addition, the event aims to connect people and provide the opportunity to exchange ideas and receive feedback from peers, while creating a constructive space for exploring future collaborations between researchers. Finally, we will also have the pleasure to learn from guest speakers who will share their insights during the congress.

This year’s theme is “Into the unknown: Psychology in the making”.

Psychology is an ever-evolving knowledge area in a fast-changing world. This conference aims to explore new prospects and paths within the discipline, namely new research themes, novel approaches, and innovative methods. We hope to foster a debate about novelties in the different domains of Psychology and about the contribution of psychological research towards addressing contemporary societal challenges.

Participation in the XVII PhD Meeting is open and free to all presenting and non-presenting authors upon registration.

We look forward to seeing you in May!
